The Amazon release of Faceoff: Inside the NHL has been a huge success, and during the show, William Nylander had a very blunt take on the Bruins/Maple Leafs rivalry. It's no secret at this point that the Toronto Maple Leafs are struggling to find Stanley Cup Playoffs success, and unfortunately for them, plenty of those failures have come against the heated rival Boston Bruins. During episode one of Faceoff: Inside the NHL, that exact rivalry was explored after the two teams met in round one last season, and it's safe to say that it's must-see for any NHL fan. The episode not only delved into the rivalry of the two teams, but the years long friendship between William Nylander and David Pastrnak, and during one of their conversations, Nylander had a hilarious take on why 'Pasta' loved the rivalry so much. «Yeah, that's because you always beat us. Every time we've lost, it has been so sh*t.» <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/Leafslatest/status/1842246664230162772'> </a></blockquote></div> At this point, it's very hard to deny that the Bruins own the Maple Leafs in their playoff rivalry, with this being yet another occasion that the team would narrowly walk away with victory in the post-season. The Bruins may only have one Stanley Cup of their own since the turn of the century, but Toronto fans have now been waiting 57 years for one, so it's very easy to see how the pressure of playing in Toronto has gotten to these players. Ultimately though, this episode showcased the pure emotion, will and desire of every Maple Leafs player, especially Nylander who had an infamous outburst on the bench during the series, which was seen in full on the episode, and while he may have been disparaging his team, it's hard to argue with what was said.
