After yesterday's comments from President of Hockey Operations Jim Rutherford Canucks forward J.T. Miller has responded to the ongoing turmoil in the organization. Yesterday afternoon Jim Rutherford and the Vancouver Canucks organization finally confirmed that there are major problems between J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson. This was the first time that the Canucks organization themselves confirmed what was going on between the two star players and that it was an ongoing issue with no easy solution. Naturally, this then sparked controversy in the media and the fanbase over the last 24 hours leading many to want to hear from each player. Today the media was able to make that a reality as Miller spoke to the media and addressed the comments from Rutherford on the feud and a potential trade.
J.T. Miller Responds To Comments Made By Jim Rutherford
During an interview after practice, Miller addressed the media and of course one of the first things he was asked was about Rutherford's comments. He was asked to respond to Rutherford's comments and gave a short, to-the-point response. I don't have one - J.T. Miller When asked if things were still good between him and Pettersson like he had previously claimed Miller pushed back even further. I'm not commenting on this

With Miller refusing to comment this only seems to further cement that there is a problem in the locker room that Miller does not want to face. Of course, Miller's name continues to be mentioned in trade rumors ever since he was reportedly almost moved to the New York Rangers. With the NHL Trade Deadline coming up soon it remains to be seen if Miller or Pettersson is moved before the deadline. Clearly, things are not improving for the Vancouver Canucks and if the two stars cannot get past this one of them has to be moved so the media circus and speculation can begin to slow down. As more reports and reactions come from the Canucks organization regarding this situation we will pass along the latest news and notes.
