Tonight news has come in that former Vancouver Canucks enforcer Donald Brashear has been charged with a serious crime. Over the last month the Vancouver Canucks organization has been surrounded in controversy. Tonight that trend continues as one of the franchises most well known players Donald Brashear has been arrested on charges of a serious crime. According to reports Brashear was arrested in Quebec due to charges relating to a recent altercation he was involved in. Donald Brashear was arrested for an altercation with a woman. He was charged, then pleaded not guilty. He is therefore currently being held in the Quebec detention center according to my sources. Further reports have confirmed that Brashear while in custody is being held away from other inmates within the facility he is being held at. In that time Brashear played 6 years and 388 total games with the Canucks and became their all-time leader in penalty minutes. In his 16 year career Brashear totaled an astounding 2,634 penalty minutes across all of his games played.
