It's always interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes of a hockey game, especially when it involves the Montreal Canadiens.

Last night, the SAP Center, the Sharks' arena in San Jose, was the talk of the town.

It started with the very inconvenient and unpleasant press gallery to watch a hockey game (with obstructed vision):

It continued with the completely empty bleachers:

And finally, there's a photo of Samuel Montembeault that got a lot of reactions. Here it is:

Clearly, Sam must have found the game very long.

It doesn't look very professional to see a professional goalie placed like that, but fortunately, the Habs don't play too often in San Jose.

As some people cleverly joked, at least he had popcorn included.

Check out some of the reactions:

We realize that he had the opportunity to get close to the ice at times, but it's still ridiculous that he was placed where the ice crew works (they still go on the ice, at a minimum, 9 times in the game)

So he always has to "settle down" and is constantly disturbed during the game. These are execrable circumstances for an auxiliary goalie.
