An emergency goalie recall for the Habs today?

The Montreal Canadiens are in a really tough spot today, as the Laval Rocket must face the Toronto Marlies in an extremely important playoff game, which means Cayden Primeau is unavailable for the CH.

However, knowing that Jake Allen has not participated in the team's practice for several days now, it seems very unlikely that he will be in condition to assist in the Tricolore's game against the Islanders, in New York, as well.

It seems increasingly inevitable that with only one healthy goalie in Samuel Montembeault, the Habs will have no choice but to dress an emergency goalie, much like the Maple Leafs did in last Saturday's game.

It's also possible that the CH could take a chance and hope Monty doesn't get hurt by using Allen as a reserve, but that would be a very unwise move, even in a losing season.

This will be something to watch in the coming hours.
