As one of the toughest players to play against in hockey, Radko Gudas is known in the league as the butcher. He plays like he is not afraid of anyone with his tough as nails style. He also has been known to have an element of some dirty play in his game. Tonight, we saw that side of Gudas. <h2>The Butcher Displays His Dirty Side of the Game by Slewfooting Raymond</h2> At the end of the first period he came over and skated up to Lucas Raymond. Raymond was not playing the puck at the time. It appears Gudas first initiated contact shoulder to shoulder with Raymond, before clearing slewfooting him. <blockquote class=twitter-tweet><p lang=en dir=ltr>Radko Gudas with a slewfoot on Lucas Raymond at the end of the 1st period<br><br>Gudas received a 2 minute minor for interference 👀🤔<a href=https://twitter.com/hashtag/NHL?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw>#NHL</a> | <a href=https://twitter.com/hashtag/LGRW?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw>#LGRW</a> | <a href=https://twitter.com/hashtag/FlyTogether?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw>#FlyTogether</a> <br> <a href=https://t.co/1SwkJNrhnI>pic.twitter.com/1SwkJNrhnI</a> The Cam & Strick Podcast (@CamandStrick) <a href=https://twitter.com/CamandStrick/status/1744179151945228798?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw>January 8, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src=https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js charset=utf-8> The result of the play was a two minute penalty for interference. Based on how sever a slewfoot can be, it does not seem like the punishment matches the crime. Slewfooting is considered one of the dirtiest plays in the game that should be removed. <blockquote class=twitter-tweet><p lang=en dir=ltr>Radko Gudas with a slew foot on Lucas Raymond after the final shot of the period. And, rightfully so, as reported on house of hockey. <blockquote class=twitter-tweet><p lang=en dir=ltr>Radko Gudas Potentially Facing A Suspension For Dirty Slew-Foot <a href=https://t.co/EqiC59PB2x>https://t.co/EqiC59PB2x</a> <a href=https://twitter.com/hashtag/NHL?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw>#NHL</a> <a href=https://twitter.com/hashtag/Hockey?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw>#Hockey</a> <a href=https://twitter.com/hashtag/NHLNews?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw>#NHLNews</a> <a href=https://t.co/RJCYbGn5sw>pic.twitter.com/RJCYbGn5sw</a> House of Hockey (@HLHouseofHockey) <a href=https://twitter.com/HLHouseofHockey/status/1744314299244577165?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw>January 8, 2024</a></blockquote> <script async src=https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js charset=utf-8> As Read on: Blade of Steel - <a href='https://www.bladeofsteel.com/nhl/news/Radko-Gudas-pulls-off-one-of-the-dirtiest-slewfoots-of-the-season' class='lien_marqueur' >Radko Gudas pulls off one of the dirtiest slewfoots of the season</a>
