There are some hockey analysts who are more emotional than others. Norman Flynn is one of them and while we don't always agree with what he says, we can't blame him for not speaking from the heart. Speaking to Georges Laraque on BPM Sports, Norman made a bold prediction about the Habs' short-term future. The Habs can make the playoffs, starting next year. If the Kraken can make the playoffs this year, with the 10th best player on each team, come tell me the Habs can't next year, with the team they'll have. -Norman Flynn

What Norman seems to forget is that the Kraken play in a much weaker division than the Habs, with the Golden Knights and Kings ahead of them in the standings. For the Habs, you have Toronto, Boston and Tampa Bay representing NHL powers, not to mention that all the other teams aren't ugly on paper either and should all be just as good, if not better, by next year. We don't know what the future holds for the Habs, but let's be patient. They are playing in the strongest division in the entire league and need to continue their rebuild, the right way.
