Minnesota Wild Center Ryan Hartman does have a bit of a reputation as a player that can make questionable decisions at times and now he's paying the price. The NHL Department of Player Safety handed Hartman a two-game suspension following a dirty play in his last game.
Hartman Suspended For Slew Foot On DeBrincat
The play came in the Wild's last game against the Detroit Red Wings. Hartman clearly stuck his right leg out in an effort to trip up Red Wings forward Alex DeBrincat as the Red Wings were attempting to enter the Wild zone.

Hartman did not get a penalty on the play. In fact, it was DeBrincat who was called for a retaliatory minor penalty. However, the DoPS saw the play on video and decided that Hartman had crossed a line. Minnesota's Ryan Hartman has been suspended for two games for tripping Detroit's Alex DeBrincat.

Hartman will serve the suspension tomorrow when they Wild take on the Blues and Thursday when they take on the Predators.
