The Arizona Coyotes have placed 29-year-old veteran Zach Sanford on NHL waivers.

In 11 games this season with André Tourigny's team, Sanford has collected two assists. In 16 games with the Roadrunners in the American League, he has scored four points.

In 316 NHL games, his best season was in 2019-2020 with the St. Louis Blues, when he recorded 30 points in 58 games.

His contract is for $800,000, until the end of the season.
