Goaltender Eric Comrie earned his first win as a Buffalo Sabre last night. This win was absolutely nothing short of extraordinary, due to the circumstances involved. Eric Comrie is a native of Edmonton, so it was fitting that his first win as a Buffalo Sabre would come against his hometown team. The kicker, however, is that the Oilers dominated the Sabres the whole game. While the star-studded Oilers put all the effort they could into the game, with 48 shots on goal, and a 23-shot third period, Comrie was a brick wall, allowing only two goals.
