Big surprise at the Montreal Canadiens practice session today

At today's practice for the Habs, leading up to tonight's game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, we saw a big surprise on the ice.

We just learned that Kirby Dach and Brendan Gallagher could potentially return to the lineup, starting tonight.

They were both in the regular lineup, with Dach on the first line with Rafael Harvey-Pinard and Nick Suzuki, while Gallagher was paired on the third line with Mike Hoffman and Alex Belzile.

This is quite unexpected news, since they were supposed to be out for several more days.

It should be noted that Jesse Ylonen was absent this morning.

The starting goaltender will be Samuel Montembeault, who will make his fourth consecutive start.

Finally, Jake Evans and Jordan Harris also skated today, but both were wearing non-contact vests.
