After losing game four in overtime, the Golden Knights returned home Saturday night with a golden opportunity to eliminate the Dallas Stars in game five and move on to face the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup final. Unfortunately for the Golden Knights, things didn't go their way as Stars forward Ty Dellandrea scored 2 goals just 1:27 apart, giving the Stars a 4-2 lead. That ended up being the final score, as the Golden Knights couldn't beat Stars goaltender Jake Oettinger. <div align='center' style='padding-top:20px;padding-bottom:20px;'><img src='https://i.marqueur.com/habsetlnh/i/photo/270487.webp' width='100%' border='0' alt='image' loading='lazy' defer /></div> After the game, Golden Knights head coach Bruce Cassidy, who's usually known for not criticizing or pointing fingers, did exactly that towards goaltender Aiden Hill, specifically regarding the winning goal. <q>Not a great goal, probably the first one from Adin all playoffs that he'd want back. But we've got to go pick him up. -Bruce Cassidy</q> Hill did make more than his share of big saves, and perhaps he could have stopped the third goal. However, instead of criticism, Cassidy should aim to build Hill back up. Now, with the series standing at 3-2 heading back to Dallas, the question remains: what will Cassidy do? Many fans are still wondering why Jonathan Quick, who's won 2 Stanley Cups, has sat on the sidelines chomping on hot dogs with Phil Kessel, in favor of Hill. Will Cassidy decide to put Quick in for game six? Or stick with Hill, who's done a commendable job since replacing Laurent Brossoit? I guess we'll just have to wait and see... <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/SinBinVegas/status/1662655503380660225?t=rZ3NwBg9niKuz_p65VZq_A&s=19'> </a></blockquote></div> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/spittinchiclets/status/1662646644351877124?t=rZ3NwBg9niKuz_p65VZq_A&s=19'> </a></blockquote></div> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/Sportsnet/status/1662641407557763075?t=rZ3NwBg9niKuz_p65VZq_A&s=19'> </a></blockquote></div> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/NHL/status/1662648625523216386?t=rZ3NwBg9niKuz_p65VZq_A&s=19'> </a></blockquote></div> <div align='center'><blockquote class='twitter-tweet' data-lang='en'><a href='https://twitter.com/NHL/status/1662618664443559936?t=rZ3NwBg9niKuz_p65VZq_A&s=19'> </a></blockquote></div>
