The Vegas Golden Knights built a 3-0 series lead, but failed to deliver the final blow to the Dallas Stars, losing game four in overtime and game five 4-2 in Vegas on Saturday night.

Understandably, Vegas is feeling frustrated, and it was evident when Golden Knights head coach Bruce Cassidy criticized his team and made a pointed remark about another team at the same time.

During the post-game interviews, Cassidy talked about the turnovers and lack of shots, and said,

"We have 24 giveaways. I'm not sure we're beating the Arizona Coyotes in January with 24 giveaways. That's no disrespect to Arizona, but that's not the right way to play."

Cassidy was also displeased with the number of giveaways, attributing it to a lack of urgency, poor puck management.

"lack of urgency, poor puck management, bad decision making, and much more."

It's hard to interpret this in any other way: he was clearly criticizing the Coyotes, while simultaneously telling his team they couldn't beat the Coyotes. Perhaps this will ignite a fire in them as they head back to Dallas.

The Golden Knights tied their record for the most giveaways in a playoff game, and were just four short of the most in any game in franchise history.
