With three seasons left on his contract, Carey Price will no longer be playing in the NHL. Say what you will, securing his succession was a major consideration, but the CH was left breathless by his premature end to his career. We now have Samuel Montembeault, who is showing great promise. But is he really the team's goalie of the future? The question remains. What if a goalie who had Carey Price as his idol were to succeed him in Montreal? Not only did Carter Hart love Price, he was seen as the next Carey Price before he arrived in the NHL. What's more, his initials stand for C.H. - a nice coincidence! Here's where it gets interesting. Coach Mitch Giguere was answering fan questions on the Internet, and the proposal to send Carter Hart to Montreal in exchange for Sean Farrell, Cayden Primeau, Jordan Harris and a draft pick came up. Certainly, Hart's performances haven't been sensational, especially over the past two years. However, he's only 24 years old and has a lot of potential and experience.

It's your turn to come and ask me a question for my article of the week in @DLCoulisses

Write me your question of the week below and I'll answer it this Sunday, on all things field hockey around the world🔥 #GoHabsGo #Hockey #NHL pic.twitter.com/Gl2DleV9AK- Mitch Giguere (@Mitch_Giguere) May 19, 2023
