Former Canadiens scout Grant McCagg has broken his silence on rumors surrounding a potential Christian Dvorak trade. In his opinion, the chances of the CH trading Dvorak are pretty slim. We shouldn't expect Dvorak to be traded before the trade deadline. First of all, he's injured. Second, Dach and Newhook are nowhere near 50% at the face-off dot in their NHL careers so far.... His prowess at the face-off dot is necessary until they (Newhook and Dach) improve. - Grant McCagg For those of you expecting a deal before July 1, now you've got some explaining to do. McCagg even adds a layer, and quite honestly, he's not wrong. I don't see the urgency of trading a 27-year-old center who is one of only two on the team to win more face-offs than he loses, the other being the often injured Monahan. The Canadiens don't need more draft picks, and you can never have too many centers since they can be moved to the wing. - Grant McCagg
