It's always fun to see comparisons made about players, especially when they're fairly unknown and haven't yet skated their first NHL games. David Reinbacher was selected 5th overall in a very strong draft year, and against all odds, we learn that more and more people are applauding the Habs for this selection, even journalists from enemy markets. Boston journalist Kevin Paul Dupont even compared Reinbacher to none other than Charlie McAvoy. <q>Reinbacher possesses the size and style of play that motivated the Bruins to draft Charlie McAvoy 14th overall in the 2016 draft.</q> When you consider that Reinbacher shares the same strengths as star young defensemen like Charlie McAvoy and Moritz Seider, it's a pretty good sign for the Habs' future, and it's easy to see why Kent Hughes turned up his nose at Matvei Michkov. By the way, the Predators were ready to pay big.
