The Edmonton Oilers have quelled the doubts that they couldn't right the ship this year after putting themselves in the basement of the league with one of the worst starts to a season in NHL history. They still have some things to address on their roster, however, its clear they are in the conversation for potential cup conteders this year.

Now, it looks like they may be trying to address one of those gaps by trading for goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury. According to Elliotte Friedman, the Edmonton Oilers have serious interest in the veteran.

Oilers Looking to Go All In This Year After Terrible Start

After the Oilers had their terrible start, there were murmurs from GM Ken Holland that he wouldn't put them in a bad position for the future, meaning he didn't want to go all in on the team and be too risky. Now, though, its clear the Oilers have a shot at going all the way. They are playing like the team many expected them to be prior to the start of the season.
