General Manager Brad Treliving of the Maple Leafs has been instrumental in securing some exciting new signings this offseason. Key additions to the squad include Tyler Bertuzzi, Max Domi, Ryan Reaves, and John Klingberg. All of these signings were conducted through free agency, with each player providing crucial enhancements to the Leafs' lineup.

In addition to these acquisitions, Treliving is currently embroiled in solving the team's goalie situation, while also endeavoring to extend contracts for William Nylander and Auston Matthews.

Despite the buzzing activity and big-name signings, there's a tendency to overlook the less obvious players who could be a boon for the Maple Leafs. One such undervalued player is Pius Suter, whose continued availability on the free agent market has raised many eyebrows.
