A sad announcement was made recently. The first captain of the formerly Mississauga IceDogs has passed away at age 44. <h2>Former OHL Captain Passes Away</h2> Earlier today a post on X from former OHL owner and NHL coach Don Cherry confirmed the passing of one of his former players Scott Page at the age of 44. <q>Was so sad to hear the passing of Scott Page, the first captain of the Mississauga IceDogs. He was a tough as they come and a great leader. He played four seasons in total in the OHL. He also had a small stint in the ECHL before pursuing his education and playing at St. Thomas University. After leaving St. Thomas Page spent one pro season in the UHL with the Adirondack Frostbite where he tallied 16 points.
