The Habs finished 28th overall in the NHL this season. While this is not very surprising, or even predictable, there is one major point that has angered the team's owner. While at the University of Montreal to review the season earlier today, Molson admitted that the team will never win with so many injuries and that the Hughes/Gorton duo will have to find solutions quickly. This is unacceptable. It's never accurate to understand exactly why we've had injuries. There are a number of reasons. I won't get into the details today, but the important thing is that Jeff and Kent look around a little bit to improve health since it's going to be very difficult to win with so many injuries. We're never going to win with that many injuries. Jeff and Kent have said that. We have to look around a little bit to find ways to stay healthier. That's the work we have to do this summer. - Geoff Molson Here's a message that has the makings of clarity. Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton now have the responsibility to target the gaps in this area and fill them. Obviously, this was already under control in our opinion, even a priority.
