Tuesday was a very special day in Washington as the NHL's top rookies participated in the NHL Rookie Orientation Program. In a nutshell, the players were on the ice, all dressed in their full uniforms, with the goal of taking pictures to get their turn on hockey cards, and more. Of course, many members of the media were there, including Georges Laraque, who took the opportunity to meet Jurak Slafkovsky in person for the first time. It's safe to say that the young Slovakian made a good impression: I just got to know Juraj Slafkovsk at the NHL Rookie Orientation Program, look at him well CH fans, he's ready and he's hungry!!! - Georges Laraque

It's a safe bet that Georges will use his airtime on BPM Sports to talk more about his meeting with Slafkovsky, but from what we understand, there's no doubt in Georges' mind that the kid is ready to make the jump to the NHL.
