At the time of writing, we still don't know what Patrice Bergeron's future plans are. One thing is certain, the Bruins captain could have a trophy to his name as he has dominated the NHL in his own way during his career.

The main interested party will think about his future during the summer, but everything leads us to believe that he will announce his retirement, especially since he is caught with some serious back pain.

According to Yvon Pedneault, a future in Montreal is very possible for Bergeron. It would not be as a player, but as a second floor position.

"Bergeron's glowing profile and the impact he has made and still makes in the hockey world deserves serious consideration. He is an ambassador for his sport. He is a resourceful person for the National Hockey League. Throughout his career, he has served his sport with great professionalism.

Last year, Geoff Molson and his group did not hesitate to approach Vincent Lecavalier. Shouldn't they include Patrice Bergeron's name in their future plans?

We will say that he is a full-fledged member of the Boston Bruins, we all agree. However, when you end your athletic career, sometimes priorities change, especially if you're offered a challenge that matches projects you'd like to do in a brand new role." - Yvon Pedneault

It's certain that his relationship with Kent Hughes will be a plus for the Habs.
