Like the Canadiens a few days ago, the Laval Rocket took stock of the end of the season yesterday, after the cruel elimination of the playoffs in overtime.

In this review, we learned that two important players would be leaving the Montreal organization.

Indeed, in a press conference, the head coach of the CH's club-school, Jean-François Houle, announced that he does not believe that Danick Martel will be back next season. Houle also revealed that he had had an emotional discussion with Martel.

JF Houle had an emotional meeting with Danick Martel today. He was his coach at the junior and professional level.

"I don't think he'll be back next season," he said.

Unfortunately for the 28-year-old Quebec forward, he had a rough season this year, struggling with a serious injury that caused him to miss a large portion of the campaign, limiting him to 12 points in 26 games.

Also, during his media availability, Corey Schueneman spoke as a player who will not be back with the team either.

The Habs might want to make room in the Rocket lineup for the big wave of prospects that will be added to the team next year. Joshua Roy, Riley Kidney, Logan Mailloux, Sean Farrell, Jared Davidson, and others come to mind.
