Kent Hughes could add weight to his fourth trio

It's hard to create a team identity when you're in the middle of a rebuild like the Habs. Add to that the numerous personnel changes due to injuries and you have a nice puzzle on your hands.

It's a bit of a similar situation in Calgary, where the team has lost some of its identity with the departures of Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Tkachuk. The arrival of Jonathan Huberdeau and Nazem Kadri did not have the desired effect and the team did not qualify for the playoffs. The general manager has been fired and the housekeeping is coming to Calgary.

Milan Lucic just finished a hefty contract and he won't be back with the Flames. The forward removed all mentions of the Alberta team on his social networks.

Could the big forward interest Kent Hughes? Lucic has slowed down, but he remains a player who can protect his teammates and a good veteran to surround the many young players on the Habs.
