Gallagher is simply not capable of staying healthy. Over the past three years, he has missed almost as many games in a season as he has played, and this year will possibly be his worst ever. His health is fragile and his injury history is seriously jeopardizing his career. The 30 year old winger had just returned from a previous injury, but we don't know at this time if it is the same one that got worse, or if it is a new injury. With four years left on his hefty $6.5M contract, he is becoming a serious drain on the team's payroll, especially since he is not producing nearly enough to justify his hefty salary.
