As you've probably noticed since Saturday, Jonathan Drouin has signed a one-year contract with the Colorado Avalanche, which officially means the end of his stay in Montreal. Jonathan was never the player we'd hoped he'd be in Montreal, but he had his moments, and above all, he was always very involved in the community. Despite this, expectations of him were very high, and fans were not always kind to him, to put it mildly. Just when you thought he'd have bad memories of his time with the Habs, it seems not. <q>I had some great times in Montreal. Even after 6 years, as a Quebecer, I still got chills when I played at the Bell Centre. - Jonathan Drouin</q> Jonathan has never made a secret of his passion for the Habs, saying as recently as not that he wanted to extend his contract with the team. Nevertheless, once the dust settles, he'll probably be happier and, above all, he'll be under a lot less pressure in Colorado. <iiffrraammee src=https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2FRDS%2Fposts%2Fpfbid0GuEtSwUmNZ9Vek458uJjE73XXjNBbGnvB7GCNq26v28mjsisuceMdTG2BYMeoTcDl&show_text=true height=634 style=width:100%;max-width:500px;border:none;overflow:hidden scrolling=no frameborder=0 allowfullscreen=true allow=autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share></iiffrraammee>
