The Canadiens' top prospects not yet playing in the NHL are defensemen. Of these promising backs, the closest to the NHL seems to be Logan Mailloux. However, the athlete will have to meet Gary Bettman before that happens, and there's news on that front. While it was thought that a meeting was imminent, it would appear that this is not the case. We'll have to wait until the Habs deem him ready for the big leagues, possibly after training camp or beyond, according to the <i>Montreal Gazette</i>. So there's a good chance that Mailloux will start in Laval without even knowing if he'll be allowed to play with the Habs one day. To be continued...
