Zachary Fucale had a great junior career, but it's been a whole different story since he turned pro. The goaltender has never been able to make his mark in the NHL, even though his stats aren't that bad in the AHL.

Even in four games in the league last year with the Washington Capitals, Fucale held an efficiency average of 1.75 with a save percentage of .924, which is excellent. Nevertheless, the Capitals already have their two goaltenders in Darcy Kuemper and Charlie Lindgren and the door is once again closing for the Quebecer.

According to several sources, the 27-year-old goaltender has decided to continue his career in the KHL with Traktor Chelyabinsk.

This is also what Marc-Olivier Cook of Danslescoulisses.com reports. Fucale is entering his prime years as a goalie and would certainly like to dominate in the KHL to prove to NHL teams that he is ready for a regular position.
