With the start of the Habs' training camp just under two months away, we have good news on the condition of several injured players, who are already ready to return to action. For Juraj Slafkovsky, this is also the case. The young Slovak has fine-tuned several aspects of his training which should help him this year. He's even about to arrive in town, as he prepares for the season starting next week. In other words, Juraj will be in Montreal more than a month ahead of schedule. We love it! According to him, his game will be greatly improved. I'm sure they (the fans) will expect more, and I'm counting on that. I think I'm well prepared and I'll be better than my first year. I've lost some weight, but we'll see if I'm faster on the ice. I think so. - Juraj Slafkovsky Slaf also mentions that he's going to live on his own and host his good friend Filip Mesar when he's in town. We can't wait to see the progress made by the 1st overall pick in 2022. After all, expectations are high for him, and the Habs will be a much better team if he can raise his game to the NHL level.

Few quotes from Juraj Slafkovsky: I believe the eight-month break without games won't be noticed. I'm flying to Montreal at the beginning of the next week and I'll be training there. @ArponBasu @JFChaumontJDM @HabsOnReddit #GoHabsGo 📷: @DennikSport 1/n pic.twitter.com/vXYYWw8bwW- Tomá Prokop (@Lewysko) July 27, 2023
