At the same time yesterday, there were still 27 players with the Canadiens. However, the team must provide its official list of 23 players by 5:00 p.m. this evening, which means that a number of moves were still to be expected.

Since then, Joel Armia and Gustav Lindstrom have been waived, while Emil Heineman and Mattias Norlinder have been cut and will report to the Laval Rocket.

We now have the official 23-man roster:

Forwards:

-Nick Suzuki-Cole Caufield-Kirby Dach-Josh Anderson-Brendan Gallagher-Juraj Slafkovsky-Alex Newhook-Jake Evans-Tanner Pearson-Rafaël Harvey-Pinard-Michael Pezzetta-Sean Monahan-Jesse Ylonen

Defenders :

-Michael Matheson-David Savard-Kaiden Guhle-Arber Xhekaj-Jordan Harris-Justin Barron-Johnathan Kovacevic

Goalkeepers :

-Samuel Montembeault-Jake Allen-Cayden Primeau

There were no surprises this year, apart from the fact that Cayden Primeau remains with the team. No youngsters managed to carve out a place for themselves in the line-up.
