Two young players who won gold medals with Canada's junior team have been cut by the Habs.

Joshua Roy and Riley Kidney are returning to their respective junior teams.

This will be a golden opportunity for the two young hopefuls to defend their title next December and January with Team Canada.

For Joshua Roy, he will also be able to defend his title of top scorer in the Courteau circuit.
