News of Mike Babcock and bad actions went viral yesterday, with allegations that he has been forcing players to share their photos with him. With the negative Mike Babcock allegations circulating again, Kadri was asked if he ever experienced anything similar during his time with the Club.

Kadri's Photo Experience

Yesterday, Nazem Kadri was asked if he had ever experienced a similar situation during his time with Babcock.

Asked Nazem Kadri about the Babcock situation. Kadri said when he was with the #Leafs he'd "showed [Babcock] a few pictures, but I think it was pretty innocent."

Kadri played under Babcock during his tenure as Leafs head coach in 2015-2019 and was traded the season prior to Babcock's firing. While Kadri states that he thinks the actions were innocent, it does confirm that Babcock was, at minimum, interested in seeing player's photos in Toronto.

Babcock's on Thin Ice?

The Blue Jackets have denied the allegations against Babcock, releasing statements from both him and Boone Jenner, the original player the scandal was about. They both denied any foul play to the situation and that it was misrepresented. However, Paul Bissonnette and the Spittin Chiclets podcast stood by their representation of the story, even adding details to what's rumoured to have gone down in the past.

Enough with putting guys on the spot in the coaches room asking them to link their phones up to airplay mode and grilling them. I've had tons of players confirm it.
