Obviously, there have been many rumors since last summer concerning the future of Pierre-Luc Dubois who would join, at one time or another, the Montreal Canadiens.
His name has often been linked to the Tricolore and even his agent, Pat Brisson, had added fuel to the fire by mentioning that the interest of the Quebecer to come and play for the CH was very real.
However, a new detail has just surfaced through insider Nick Kypreos, as the latter made a monster statement that will certainly make Habs fans smile.
He said that even if the Winnipeg Jets won the Stanley Cup, nothing could stop Dubois from coming to play in Montreal.
Wow, that's a huge statement!
With the 24 year old forward having the best season of his career, posting 51 points in 49 games this season, he would definitely be a great move by Kent Hughes if he could add a player of his caliber to the Habs.
Imagine a future top-6 forward line consisting of Nick Suzuki, Pierre-Luc Dubois, Kirby Dach, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, as well as the player who will be drafted with the CH's top-10 selection, it would be absolutely crazy!
