Pierre-Luc Dubois' name is all over the Canadiens' entourage right now. We're hearing all kinds of things about him, including the fact that he's looking for an eight-year, $9-million-a-year contract somewhere other than Winnipeg. Kent Hughes seems very interested in bringing Dubois to Montreal, and from what we're hearing behind the scenes, the GM may be ready to name his price. According to Stéphane Waite, we shouldn't touch the Quebecer if it means paying him more than Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield: <q>If Dubois is asking more than Suzuki or Caufield, don't touch it! - Stéphane Waite</q> If comments on social networks are anything to go by, many Internet users agree with Carey Price's former coach. Waite explains himself by saying that Dubois is a 2nd-team player on a good team, so it's inconceivable that the Habs would pay him more than two first-teamers. <iiffrraammee src=https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fantichambre%2Fposts%2Fpfbid0U4x9wSLrfjqHPySjmniYVHJBwrLnumT7paaXEj9GESnHu3sfVZYtAdJnuVWgS8vMl&show_text=true height=649 style=width:100%;max-width:500px;border:none;overflow:hidden scrolling=no frameborder=0 allowfullscreen=true allow=autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share></iiffrraammee>
