As we reported last week, the Canadiens are not alone in the Pierre-Luc Dubois derby. The Los Angeles Kings are also said to be aggressively pursuing the Quebec center. So much so that, according to Ken Wiebe, their offer would be the equivalent of giving away Jordan Harris and Kirby Dach. In fact, the players mentioned by Wiebe are none other than Quinton Byfield, Gabe Vilardi and Sean Durzi. Wiebe has been covering the Winnipeg Jets for many years and is well connected with the team. If he's right and Dubois accepts an eight-year deal in L.A., he'll have to be written off in Montreal. It would be very surprising if Kent Hughes were to match this offer.
