As we saw this season, the wind of youth that is blowing through the Habs is very encouraging. The results were not there and it will probably still be the case in 2023-24, but many signs show that the Tricolore has good young players in its hands.

First trio: Juraj Slafkovsky - Nick Suzuki - Cole Caufield

Second trio: Matvei Michkov - Pierre-Luc Dubois - Kirby Dach

As my colleague from the Marqueur site Nicolas Desrosiers mentions, add to that a third trio of Owen Beck, Sean Farrell, and Joshua Roy, plus Kaiden Guhle, Arber Xhekaj, Justin Barron, Lane Hutson, Logan Mailloux, Jordan Harris on defense, and a few good veterans, and it could be an electrifying lineup.
