If this continues and they are still out of a playoff spot as we get closer to the trade deadline, teams will begin to show interest in the future Hall of Famer. <h2>Stamkos is nearing a crossroads</h2> This year is the final season of Stamkos' contract which pays him $8.5 million annually. He has over 500 goals and 1,000 points in his career, along with two Stanley Cup championships.
