Against all odds, Anthony Duclair changes address. He'd really made his niche in Florida, so it's very surprising to see him go. The Panthers traded him to the San Jose Sharks for Steven Lorentz and a 5th-round pick in 2025. This transaction is surely a strategic move to save payroll, which is a shame. Duclair had a fine playoff run with 9 points in 20 games. In 2021-22, he had the best season of his career with 58 points in 74 games. Good luck in San Jose! <a href='https://www.gonordiques.com/lnh/nouvelles/alerte-transaction-le-quebecois-anthony-duclair-vient-de-se-faire-envoyer-sous-dautres-cieux-et-la-raison-est-revelee' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Credit: Go Nordiques</a> <blockquote class=twitter-tweet><p lang=en dir=ltr>We have a trade to announce...<br><br>The <a href=https://twitter.com/hashtag/SJSharks?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw>#SJSharks</a> have acquired forward Anthony Duclair from the Florida Panthers in exchange for forward Steven Lorentz and San Jose's own 2025 fifth-round selection.- San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks) <a href=https://twitter.com/SanJoseSharks/status/1675286021821583362?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw>July 1, 2023</a></blockquote> <script async src=https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js charset=utf-8>
