The Canadiens' new administration loves to exploit the potential of young players. They're taking advantage of the change of scenery, which is sometimes beneficial, and of Martin St-Louis' qualities to produce talented players who are looking for themselves, as is the case with Kirby Dach. Recently, Alex Newhook was acquired and the organization will try to do the same with him. Now, there could be another surprise of the same kind. According to former CH employee Marc Dumont, Filip Zadina would be a solid, inexpensive and no-risk acquisition for the organization. Even if he's slow to make his niche in the NHL, Zadina excels at converting quality scoring chances into goals. In short, he's capable of finishing the job, which would greatly help the Habs' numerical advantage. Imagine Caufield on one side and Zadina on the other on the power play, with Suzuki feeding them!

Should the #GoHabsGo attempt another reclamation project with Filip Zadina?

It's not a black-and-white situation for the Montreal Canadiens, but there is some potential left when discussing Zadina's results.

More⬇️https://t.co/jr3bNKwXMX- Marc Dumont (@MarcPDumont) July 6, 2023
 Credit: RDT
