Artturi Lehkonen was a very good player with the Habs and he is even better now that he is with the Avalanche. He has always been a great worker and a player who will do anything for the team's success, but now he has found his scoring touch again with Colorado. This season he scored 20 goals and 49 points in 62 games. Those are 2 career highs. But the Habs might have found the new Lehkonen in Montreal. At least, that's what Norman Flynn thinks. And he's talking about Rafael Harvey-Pinard.

His point is far from bad. RHP can play on the power play and the short-handed. He is not necessarily a top 6 player, but he can help out if there is an injury. He blocks shots. And we can add that like Lehkonen, RHP will never hurt the team. Even if he doesn't score, he is able to contribute in a different way. Now, we shouldn't get too carried away either. RHP really hasn't reached Lehkonen's level yet, especially defensively. But he still has a lot of room to improve. Don't forget that he only has 36 games of NHL experience. He's still adapting. It will be interesting to see how far his progression will take him.
