You can say what you want about the Habs' season, no one thought the team would make the playoffs this year. Nevertheless, the players have done a colossal job and we can even say that their record is surprising, so far.

Of course, a 26-33-4 record is nothing to brag about, but given the number of injuries and young players on the roster, it is very respectable. In fact, the Tricolore leads the NHL for most games missed by players.

It's simple, there have been so many injuries and recalls from Laval, that even the Rocket has had to recall players, over and over, from the ECHL.

The #Habs lead the league in missed games due to injury. It's impacting the entire depth chart. ECHL recalls, Olivier Galipeau, Pierrick Dubé and John Parker -Jones have now played more games with the Rocket than with the Lions.

If the Habs are surprising, so are the Rocket, who are in the thick of the battle for a playoff spot. Despite a sub-par start to the season, Jean-Francois Houle's men have managed to turn things around and could surprise, just like they did last year. Imagine, when the injured come back!
