The National Hockey League has announced an official change during the game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Colorado Avalanche.

After reviewing the third goal scored by the Tricolore, it turns out that young Jesse Ylonen will be credited with the goal. Unfortunately for Chris Wideman, he is still looking for his first of the season.

"Turns out Montreal Canadiens' Chris Wideman is still looking for his first goal of the season: Montreal's 3rd goal tonight was credited to Jesse Ylonen assisted by Wideman and Alex Belzile." - Priyanta Emrith

Still, it's pretty rare for the NHL to make a scoring change official, this late after a game. Normally, this kind of situation is done during the game, not after.

Wideman, 33, is now back to a record of 0 goals and 6 assists, in 36 games this season.

Ylonen, 23, is now at 3 goals and 7 assists (10 points) in 26 games played this season.
