We just learned from Laval Rocket head coach Jean-François Houle that forward Mitchell Stephens will miss at least the first two rounds of the playoffs. This is really bad news for the Rocket, just before the start of the playoffs. The organization will have to do without one of their best veterans for several important games. Stephens, 26, had 41 points in 68 games in his first season in Laval. He is one of Houle's most trusted players, having won the Stanley Cup in 2020 with the Tampa Bay Lightning. He also has 72 games of NHL experience. <iiffrraammee src=https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fhockeymagazine%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02sbHMPga4axyCYZdNHUmijUfCm2f1GRuNRgt8pfyZZLgMDDtDjtZJTmiTPKP8e3GCl&show_text=true height=502 style=width:100%;max-width:500px;border:none;overflow:hidden scrolling=no frameborder=0 allowfullscreen=true allow=autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; picture-in-picture; web-share></iiffrraammee> Credit: <a href='https://www.rumeursdetransaction.com/equipe-lnh/canadiens-de-montreal/Catastrophe-pour-le-Rocket-avant-le-debut-des-series' class='lien_marqueur' target='_blank' rel='noopener'>Rumeursdetransaction.com</a>
