During his first five years with the Calgary Flames, Matthew Tkachuk faced stiff competition in the Western Conference. He maintains that Dustin Byfuglien was the most frightening player he ever battled against.

Byfuglien, a powerful force in his time, captivated fans with his impressive skills as both a forward and a defenseman.

With Byfuglien now retired, Matthew Tkachuk mentioned Cale Makar, Miro Heiskanen, and Rasmus Dahlin as the players he finds most challenging to compete against.

As for Brady, he identified Shea Weber as his most daunting opponent. The imposing, hard-hitting, and smooth-skating future Hall of Famer must have been quite the matchup for a 19-year-old Tkachuk during heated clashes between the Montreal Canadiens and the Ottawa Senators.
