The verdict is in for Kaiden Guhle and Justin Barron

In the last few minutes, we learned the verdict for young Kaiden Guhle and Justin Barron.

Both defensemen were injured during the trip to the West Coast. While many felt that Fred Allard being sent back to the AHL was good news for one of the two players, that was not the case.

"Justin Barron and Kaiden Guhle are not on the ice for morning practice at the Bell Centre." - J-F Chaumont

Recall that both Guhle and Barron appear to be bothered by a shoulder injury.

In fact, there will be a return to the lineup, but not necessarily the one we were hoping for, as Chris Wideman was on the third defensive pair this morning.

This is not the development we want to see, so it will be something to watch over the next few days.
