Things Are Pointing Towards a Potential Trade Between the Canadiens and One of the San Jose Sharks or Toronto Maple Leafs

There was a game yesterday at the Toronto Maple Leafs' home, as they took on the Canadiens' most recent opponent, the San Jose Sharks.

In fact, there was a Montreal Canadiens representative at the game, as reported by David Pagnotta of The Fourth Period. Scouts from Anaheim, St. Louis, Boston, Los Angeles, Dallas, New Jersey, Detroit, Calgary, Arizona, Chicago and Seattle were also at the game.

When you look at the Sharks roster, there isn't much to go on. Do they all have an interest in Erik Karlsson? Apart from him, the only other interesting player who will become a free agent this summer is Nick Bonino.

On the Toronto side, Engvall, Kerfoot and Bunting are the players that stand out for a possible trade.
