During the game between the Philadelphia Flyers and the Tampa Bay Lightning last night, defenseman Tony DeAngelo made a completely disgusting move.

The latter, who is not at his first mischief, darted the forward Corey Perry directly in the private parts, while the latter was not expecting it at all.

A totally gratuitous gesture, which is possibly the worst of the season.

See for yourself here :

In the following sequence shot, we can see that Perry's teammates all pounced on DeAngelo, and with good reason:

Because of his actions, the Flyers defenseman received a five-minute major penalty, as well as an ejection from the game.

In connection with this disgraceful act, the NHL also made a last-minute announcement:

"Philadelphia's Tony DeAngelo will have a hearing today for his gesture toward Tampa Bay's Corey Perry."

So there will most likely be a suspension matter for #77.

The worst part of all this is that DeAngelo tried to defend himself by saying that the reactions were practically overblown. These are clearly not acceptable explanations for a move like this.

More details will follow.
