After missing most of last season with an injury this Oilers forward looks to return to NHL action this fall.
Brown To Be Ready For Oilers
Earlier today the Edmonton Oilers took forward Connor Brown off the injury reserved and brought him to the NHL team.

Brown was limited to just four games for the Washington Capitals last season and was let go to free agency. The Oilers signed the 29-year-old winger to a one-year deal worth $775k with performance bonus that can see him make $4 million this season. Connor Brown when healthy has been a consistent 10 goal, 35 point player and will look to add another depth scorer to this star studded Oilers lineup.
The Projected Oilers Lineup
The Edmonton Oilers have been known to be carried offensively by the superstar duo of Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid, even after the addition of Evander Kane it has been clear the Oilers can not seem to get consistent offence from anyone but their big two. However with the addition of Connor Brown to the lineup the Oilers current projected lines has the duo of Draisaitl and McDavid split up. The current forward core looks like this: Kane - McDavid - Brown Nugent-Hopkins - Draisaitl - Hyman Holloway - McLeod - janmark Foegele - Pederson - Ryan If Holloway can become a consistent point perducer the Oilers may have three lines that can score at anytime, as any player that plays with McDavid becomes that much better. Nugent-Hopkins and Drraisaitl are fair from slouches as well, this very well could be the best Canadian team we have seen in years.
