Several rumors are circulating around the Montreal Canadiens. Some players are close to leaving and four teams are interested in these players.

The Anaheim Ducks

The Ducks lost the services of defenseman Josh Mahura claimed in the draft by the Florida Panthers and Jamie Drysdale for four to six months due to a tear. The team needs defensemen to fill in for these absences. With the youngsters starting to make their mark on the Habs' defense, a player like Chris Wideman could be traded.

The Philadelphia Flyers

The Philadelphia Flyers are going to need help at center, as Sean Couturier is expected to miss three to four months of action due to a second back surgery. With the acquisition of Sean Monahan this summer, the Tricolore could afford to let a center go. Monahan has been contributing well since joining the CH, and Christian Dvorak is a player who could be useful to the Flyers.

Ottawa Senators

The team is in a similar situation to Philadelphia. Center, Josh Norris, could miss the entire season with a shoulder injury. A player like Dvorak could also be of interest to the Senators, who had a lot of interest in him this summer.

Washington Capitals

Connor Brown could miss the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on his right knee. The Capitals will also be without T.J. Oshie indefinitely. The loss of these two wingers could lead to the team wanting to trade with the Habs. Players like Evgenii Dadonov, Mike Hoffman or Jonathan Drouin could be of interest to them.
