At last week's Rookie Tournament, it was a surprise to see that Joshua Roy's name was not among the participants. The team then mentioned that the Quebecer had suffered a minor injury and could not take part in the tournament. The number 97 has since returned to action. Roy is on the ice at the Bell Sports Centre in Brossard with his teammates, but the injury is still present. According to what Marc-André Perreault of TVA Sports reports, Roy has a broken pinky.

It is indeed a very minor injury, but one that does not heal quickly. Plus, playing hockey with two fingers stuck together in gloves is certainly not the easiest thing. Nevertheless, Joshua Roy is practicing with his teammates and there is no indication that he will have to sit out the preliminaries because of this injury.
